Background:

A member of the Lythraceae plant family, Punica Granatum is a well known antioxidant containing the essential vitamins B and C. In particular Punica Granatum contains the polyphenol antioxidant Ellagic Acid, which has shown to reduce both oxidative stress and UV radiation.
